- Open new image 500x500, transparent
- Create or paste an image , no background fill, rename layer to 'pages'
- Load Vizros' book plugin filter and match settings in these images




- Click OK button
- Add noise, uniform, 3%, Monochrome UNCHECKED
- Add new raster layer named 'cover' and move it under the 'pages' layer
- Select color from image layer for the cover of the book and flood fill the 'cover' layer
- Activate 'pages' layer, select all, float, defloat, expand selection by 6, invert selection
- Activate cover layer and hit the delete key
- Cut off the top of the cover where the curled page curves so that the top of the cover is straight across
- Select all, float, invert selection, add black drop shadow with
these settings: h & v = 0, opacity = 94, blur

- Activate 'pages' layer, with rectangle selection tool and
antialias UNCHECKED, make a selection over the left end of the
pages NOT going into the curled page (narrower selection for thinner
book, thicker for larger book), float selection, defloat selection
- Add a new raster layer named 'pageEdge'
- Create pageEdge pattern by opening new image 400x400, color transparent
- Set fill to gradient using Metallic gradient, angel = 90, repeat = 50
- Resize 'pageEdge' pattern to 50 pixels x 50 pixels; save as 'pageEdge' but don't close the file
- Set fill to Pattern and load 'pageEdge' as pattern; return to book image and flood fill the selection, deselect
- Duplicate the layer and mirror the duplicate layer
- Merge the 2 pageEdge layers with the 'pages' layer but not with the 'cover' layer
- Add drop shadow to 'pages' layer then merge visible with the 'cover' layer
- Save book in PSP format, add text to the right page and continue detailing in whatever way you choose
