Candelabra Tutorial
PSP5 or PSP6
For this tut, you will need PSP, Blade Pro and the Candelabra Tube Set.  The zip includes the candelabra (ready to Blade); the candle sticks and candle flames.  If anyone can make a better tapered candle, remember me!  Tube site is at GreenWay Towers

Step 1:

make a new image 300X300 pixels with transparent background and use the candelabra base tube to set the base in the lower center of the image;
change to the selection tool and select the base - make sure the selection is outlining the base;  Blade Pro the base in a preset of your choice (I used CarvedOnyx from my 'Presets'  Section of this site).

Step 2:

Back to the 'tubes' tool;  using the CandleSticks1, 2, 3 or 4 tube, select the candle of your choice and set the tube tool at the center of the drip plate for each candle (you can choose the color by clikking and 'undoing' until you get the color you want).

Step3:

At this point, you can choose a flower tube or leave your candelabra plain;  I chose a morning glory for this example.

Step 4:

Using the selection tool, make a cropping line cutting close to the left, right and bottom but leaving enough extra room at the top for the flames - when you are satisfied with the crop line, crop the image.

Step 5:

Now it's time to duplicate the image using the 'shift'/'D' keys.  You will want 3 or more images.

Step 6:

Using the tubes tool, select the CandleFlames tube;  adjust the flame to the size you like (I used around a 50% for this one).  Set the flame at the candle tip of each candle in all three images and then save each image in PSP format to the a temporary directory and then run Animation Shop to combine the images in an animated gif.  If you don't know how to do this, check the Animation Tutorial.
