The left side of your Layers palette should look something like this.

Click the glasses next to 'Copy of feet', 'Copy of Copy of feet', 'fingers3' and 'fingers3'.

What you have left is your Original image;  save it NOW.
Use View menu and click the 'Zoom Out By 1';  move the image left.

Step 1
Hold down the 'Shift' key and tap the 'D' key.
Use View menu and click the 'Zoom Out By 1';  move the image right.
Click on the original image.
Now you see this.

Step 2
Hold down the 'Shift' key and tap the 'D' key.
Use View menu and click the 'Zoom Out By 1';  move the image right.
Click on the original image.
Now you see this.

Step 3
Hold down the 'Shift' key and tap the 'D' key.
Use View menu and click the 'Zoom Out By 1';  move the image right.
Click on the original image.
Now you see this.

Step 4
Close the original image that is to the left.
Now you see this.

Step 5
Click on the left image and then on the Layers palette.
The left column looks like this.

Leave it this way.

Step 6
Click on the center image and then on the Layers palette.
The left column looks like the left image;  make necessary changes to match image on the right.
                                

Step 7
Click on the right image and then on the Layers palette.
The left column looks like the left image;  make necessary changes to match image on the right.
                                        

Step 8
Click on the image to the left;  in the layers palette, click on the 'hair' layer;
                                                            Use Layers menu to Merge Visible.

Step 9
Click on the center image;  in the layers palette, click on the 'hair' layer;
                                                            Use Layers menu to Merge Visible.

Step 10
Click on the image on the right;  in the layers palette, click on the 'hair' layer;
                                                            Use Layers menu to Merge Visible.

Step 10
Decide on a folder that you want to save these images to.
Click on the left image and save it as 'Me01.psp' in PSP format.
Click on the center image and save it as 'Me02.psp' in PSP format.
Click on the right image and save it as 'Me03.psp' in PSP format.
Now you can ANIMATE.

Step 11
Open the animation shop from the 'File' menu;  File/Jasc Software Products/Launch Animation Shop.
*IF you have never run the Animation Shop before, you MAY have to open it from your 'Start' menu the first time.

Step 12
This is the Animation Shop workspace.
*Yours may have a gazillion buttons - I always get rid of mine.  It doesn't matter.

Step 12
From the File menu, click File/Animation Wizard.

Step 13
This is the first window;  match the settings;  click 'Next'.

Step 14
This is the second window;  set yours to match;  click 'Next'.

Step 15
This is the third window;  set yours to match;  click 'Next'.

Step 16
This is the fourth window;  set yours to match;  click 'Next'.
* the '27' is the speed;  to make it slower, you increase the number;  to make it faster, you decrease the number.

Step 17
This is the fifth window;  set yours to match.  Click on add button and add image 'Me01'; then 'Me02; then 'Me03';  click 'Next'.

Step 18
This is the sixth window;  click 'Finish'.

Step 19
Your settings will be saved for the next time you use the Animation Wizard.
The images are in the frames for animation and you can see they are too large.  They will animate rather quickly in the Animation Shop at this size but when they have to download on an internet web site, it's a different story when you put them on a web site.  If you want to see it animate at this size just for the fun of it, click the   button.  Push it again to stop it.

Step 20
We will resize the animation from here instead of from PSP;  click on Animation/Resize Animation.

Step 21
Gee;  this looks familiar!  Match the settings and click OK.

Step 22
This is better and big enough;  click the animation button         to see it work.

Step 23
Now to save it and watch the 'compression' demolish the smooth edges!  This is why you might want to put a background on your image.  Click File/Save

Step 24
Change the 'Save in' path to a folder you want to save it in;  Change the 'File name' for your ME.gif;  click SAVE.

Step 25
I've tried every combination of customizable settings and nothing helps the quality, so just slide the quality to the top and click NEXT.

Step 26
WOW!  Not a lot you can do here;  click NEXT.

Step 27
This is simply a sample of the before and after - not at all distinguishable so just click NEXT.

Step 28
This is your information screen that tells you the files size, in case your interested;  click FINISH.

You file is animated and saved.  Now you get the vision of how badly the compression pixelated your image - but it's the best thing going, so there isn't much to be done about it.  Here's Margaret2.
