This tutorial
was written using Paint Shop Pro

You will need to download these Selections
and save them in a folder of your choice,
this includes the eyes, lips and
basket if you would like to use them.
This tutorial assumes you have a
good working knowledge of PSP and the tools needed.
Here are the tiles I
used.

Here is the zip
file that contains the custom brush I used on her hair.
Remember
to save your image often.
Open a new image 250 x 550 on a transparent background.
"Selections" "Load from disk" and browse to the folder you unzipped the selections into and open the 1.sel, fill with your skin color, I used #F7C1A4 and deselect.
On the same layer, load the 2.sel and fill with a darker skin color, I used #EB9F75, deselect.
On the same layer load the 3.sel and fill with the same darker skin color and deselect.
"Layers" "New raster layer" and load the 4.sel, fill with the color you want her hair to be, I used #E5BD8C. Deselect and use the retouch tool "Darken RGB" with the settings shown below and the custom brush to brush some details to the hair....



Add a new raster layer and load the 5.sel, fill with the same darker skin color and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 6.sel, fill with your choice for her shirt, I used the pattern above at 20%, deselect.
On the same layer load the 7.sel and go to "Colors" "Adjust" "Brightness/Contrast" changing the brightness to -65 and the contrast to 0 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 8.sel and fill with white, deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 9.sel, fill with the color you want her shoes to be, I used #BDB0A3 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 10.sel and fill with a lighter color, I used #DDD6CF, deselect. Go to "Effects" "3D Effects" "Inner Bevel" with the settings below.

On the same layer load the 11.sel and fill with white, deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 12.sel, fill with your choice for her pants, I used the jeans tile above at 100%, deselect.
On the same layer load the 13.sel and adjust the brightness to -35 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 14.sel and fill with white, deselect.
On the same layer load the 15.sel and change the brightness to -65 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 16.sel and fill with the same jeans pattern, deselect. I changed the brightness to 30 for this layer so it would stick out a little more.

On the same layer load the 17.sel and change the brightness to -50 (ish) and deselect.
On the same layer load the 18.sel and fill with white, deselect.
On the same layer load the 19.sel and fill with white, deselect.
I added a new layer right here and made two buttons for her pants...

Add a new layer and load the 20.sel, fill with white and deselect.
Add a new layer and load the 21.sel, fill with your choice, I used a dark red #A04B48 to match the shirt pattern and deselect. Go to "Effects" "3D Effects" "Cutout" with the settings below.

Add a new layer and load the 22.sel, fill with black and deselect.
Add a new layer and load the 23.sel, fill with the same color as the sleeve cuff, deselect and apply the same cutout changing the Vertical setting to -6
Add a new layer right here naming it BASKET or whatever you want. This is where you will put the basket she is holding... I have included mine in the zip file if you would like to use that.
Add a new layer and load the 24.sel, fill with your skin color and deselect. I used #F7C1A4
On the same layer load the 25.sel and fill with the darker skin color, I used #EB9F75 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 26.sel and fill with the same darker skin color and deselect.
On the same layer load the 27.sel and fill with white, deselect.
Add a new layer and load the 28.sel, fill with the same color as the other cuff and deselect. Apply the same cutout as before changing the Vertical setting back to 6

Add a new raster layer and load the 29.sel, fill with your skin color and deselect. Apply a cutout with the settings below.

On the same layer load the 30.sel and fill with the darker skin color #EB9F75 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 31.sel and fill with a cheek color, I used #FC978A and then deselect.
On the same layer load the 32.sel and fill with a lighter skin color, I used #FFD8C5 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 33.sel and fill with the same light skin color and deselect.
On the same layer load the nose.sel and go to "Effects" "3D Effects" "Drop Shadow" with the settings below and then deselect.
Vertical =
-4
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 10.6
Color = #EB9F75 (Darker
skin color)
Add a new raster layer and load the 34.sel, fill with the color you want her eyebrows to be, I used #B8905F and then deselect.
Now you can open the eyes.psp file included in the zip file and copy and paste it on a new layer, using the mover tool to move it into place. Then open the lips.psp file and do the same...

Add a new layer and load the 35.sel, fill with white and deselect.
On the same layer load the 36.sel and fill with your choice for her glasses, I used the same as her collar, and then deselect.
Add a new layer and load the 37.sel, fill with your same hair color, I used #E5BD8C, and deselect. Use the retouch tool again with the same settings to brush some details.

Add a new raster layer and load the 38.sel, fill with your choice for her bow, I used the shirt pattern at 10% size and deselect.
On the same layer load the 39.sel and change the brightness to -65 and deselect.
On the same layer load the 40.sel and fill with white, deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 41.sel, fill with black and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 42.sel, fill with the same pattern and deselect.
On the same layer load the 43.sel and change the brightness again with the same settings (-65) deselect.
On the same layer load the 44.sel and fill with white, deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 45.sel, fill with same pattern, deselect.
Same layer load the 46.sel and adjust the brightness, same settings, deselect.
Same layer load the 47.sel and fill with white. Deselect. That's it!
