Ok
I decided to give this boy a little hair using Eyecandy
4000
this is up to you though... I added a new layer above
all the
face layers but under the hat layers and used the
lasso tool
at freehand line with feather of 0 and antialias checked
to make
a selections on top of his head.

and went to Eyecandy 4000 Fur with these settings

and gave him a little hair
Ok and now for his hands
make the hands layer your active layer and add a new
layer
naming it fingers. Using the paintbrush at a size
of 2, I set my
foreground color to #BA8876 and painted some lines
for fingers

then gave it a gaussian blur of 2 and make the hands
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your fingers layer active and go to edit
- clear. deselect
Make your hands layer the active layer again, add
a new layer
naming it hands shade and using the paintbrush with
the same

on his hands

layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your hands shade layer active and go
to edit - clear.
deselect and lower the opacity of this layer to 75

Make your hat1 layer active and add a new layer, calling
it
hat1 shade, using the paintbrush at a size of 6 and
a forground
color a darker shade than the pattern you used, I
used #95A5B2
and paint some shading on his hat

then gave it a gaussian blur of 4 and make the hat1
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your hat1 shade layer active and go to
edit - clear. deselect
Make your jammies layer the active layer and add a
new layer
calling it jammies shade. Change your paintbrush size
to 10
and using the same color paint some shade on those
jammies

then gave it a gaussian blur of 8 and make the jammies
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your jammies shade layer active and go
to edit - clear. deselect
Make the foot 1 layer active and add a layer naming
it foot1 shade
use the paintbrush with the same settings to paint
the foot shade

then gave it a gaussian blur of 6 and make the foot1
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your foot1 shade layer active and go
to edit - clear. deselect
Make the foot2 layer active and add a layer naming
it foot2 shade
use the paintbrush with the same settings to paint
the other foot

then gave it a gaussian blur of 6 and make the foot2
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your foot2 shade layer active and go
to edit - clear. deselect
Make your sleeve2 layer active and add a layer
naming it sleeve2 shade, I used a darker blue for
this #778897 and the paintbrush with the same settings
to paint the shade on the sleeve, then used white
to
paint by the hand too.

then gave it a gaussian blur of 6 and make the sleeve2
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your sleeve2 shade layer active and go
to edit - clear. deselect
Make the sleeve1 layer active, add a layer, name it
sleeve1 shade
and shade this just like the other sleeve...

then gave it a gaussian blur of 6 and make the sleeve1
layer active
again and go to selections - select all - selections
- float - selections
invert, make your sleeve1 shade layer active and go
to edit - clear. deselect
Add a layer above the top of the hat and add some
shade, same settings

I gave this a gaussian blur of 4, and used the same
method as before
to clear anything going outside the hat.... I'm getting
lazy :-)
I added some shade on the legs, same settings

and gave it a gaissian blur of 4, cleared anything
going outside, same as before
and thats about it for shading. Here's my baby with
the HUGE eyes....

now you can add anything else you might want,
I stuck a bear tube on his jammies,
played with the darn eyes some more,
gave his jammies a weave effect and thats about it...
Your Done!!!
Please feel free to mail me your finished baby...
I would love to see it!
