This was made using Paint Shop Pro 7 You will need to download these selections and save them in a folder of your choice. Here is the custom brush I used for the wings, unzip this into your brush folder. Here are the colors we will use. Open a new image 720 x 550 on a transparent background Go to "selections" "load from disk" and browse to the folder you saved these selections into and load the 1-wings.sel and fill with the color #1 and deselect. On the same layer load the 2-wings.sel and fill with the color #2 and deselect. On the same layer load the 3-wings.sel and fill with the color #3 and deselect. Still on the same layer load the 4-wings.sel and fill with the color #4 and deselect. Now use the retouch tool
Add a new raster layer and load the 5-wings.sel and fill with the color #1 and deselect. On the same layer load the 6-wings.sel and fill with the color #2 and deselect. On the same layer load the 7-wings.sel and fill with the color #3 and deselect. Still on the same layer load the 8-wings.sel and fill with the color #4 and deselect. Use the retouch tool with the same settings to smudge this part the same way, then go to effects - 3d effects - drop shadow with these settings. Vertical = 2
Add a new raster layer and load the 9-wings.sel and fill with the color #1 and deselect. On the same layer load the 10-wings.sel and fill with the color #2 and deselect. On the same layer load the 11-wings.sel and fill with the color #3 and deselect. Still on the same layer load the 12-wings.sel and fill with the color #4 and deselect. Use the retouch tool again, same settings, to smudge the bottom down first and then smudge the top down over the bottom a little... Use the same drop shadow here.
Add a new raster layer and load the 13-neck.sel and fill with the color #8 and deselect. On the same layer load the 14-neck.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. On the same layer load the 15-neck.sel and fill with the color #11 and deselect. On the same layer load the 16-neck.sel and fill with the color #12 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 17-lace.sel and fill with the color #5 and deselect. On the same layer load the 18-lace.sel and fill with the color #7 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 19-dress.sel and fill with the color #5 and deselect. On the same layer load the 20-dress.sel and fill with the color #6 and deselect. On the same layer load the 21-dress.sel and fill with the color #7 and deselect. On the same layer load the 22-dress.sel and fill with the color #6 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and load the 23-lace.sel and fill with the color #7 and deselect. Apply the same drop shadow changing the blur to 8. Add a new raster layer and load the 24-lace.sel and fill with the same color and deselect. Apply the same drop shadow. Add a new raster layer and load the 25-lace.sel and fill with the same color and deselect. Apply the same drop shadow.
Add a new raster layer and load the 26-arms.sel and fill with the color #8 and deselect. On the same layer load the 27-arms.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. On the same layer load the 28-arms.sel and fill with the color #11 and deselect. On the same layer load the 29-arms.sel and fill with the color #12 and deselect. Still on the same layer load the 30-arms.sel and go to "colors" "adjust" "brightness/contrast" changing the brightness to -25 and the contrast at 0 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 31-ears.sel and fill with the color #8 and deselect. On the same layer load the 32-ears.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. On the same layer load the 33-ears.sel and fill with the color #11 and deselect. On the same layer load the 34-ears.sel and adjust the brightness with the same settings as before and deselect. On the same layer load the 35-ears.sel and fill with the color #12 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 36-head.sel and fill with the color #8 and deselect. On the same layer load the 37-head.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. On the same layer load the 38-head.sel and fill with the color #11 and deselect. On the same layer load the 39-head.sel and fill with the color #12 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 40-eyes.sel and fill with #404040 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 41-muzzle.sel and fill with the color #9 and deselect. On the same layer load the 42-muzzle.sel and fill with the color #8 and deselect. On the same layer load the 43-muzzle.sel and fill with the color #5 and deselect. On the same layer load the 44-muzzle.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. On the same layer load the 45-muzzle.sel and fill with #ECA58C and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 46-face.sel and fill with the color #10 and deselect. Add a new raster layer and load the 47-nose.sel and fill with #404040 and deselect. On the same layer load the 48-highlights.sel and fill with the color #5 and deselect... Thats it...
