The image you create by following this tutorial belongs to you and you may do whatever you want with that. This was made using Paint Shop Pro 7 There are no selections for this, I did not use vectors to make this bear, it was made entirely with the paintbrush. I will show you each step I took to paint the bear. This assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP. If you would rather do this bear using selections, Angel Bear Selection Tutorial. I have attempted to make a rough outline of this bear, you are free to use that as a reference if that is easier for you. Angel-Bear-Outline. I used a custom brush for the wings, unzip this into your brush folder. I used a lace background texture also, save this into your texture folder. Remember to save often, this is a pretty big image. Also make sure
everything is on its own layer, that makes it easier to go back and
make changes later. I used a big canvas size of about 700 x 500 for this, with a medium gray background so I could see better. Using #CCD2CC and the paintbrush with the settings shown below I started with the wings....
Then switched to a lighter color #ECF0EC and used the paintbrush, changing the size to 10.
Used #BDB9AE here.
And then #B5A997 and a brush size of about 6 for more details.
Used the retouch tool "Smudge" with the settings shown to smudge the wings for a feathery look, starting at the bottom row first.
