Start by opening a new image 500 x 500 on a transparent background Go to selections, load from disk, and open the collar1.sel, fill with your choice of color and deselect On the same layer, open the collar2.sel and go to colors / adjust / brightness/contrast changing the brightness to -40 and deselect Add a new raster layer and open the jammies1.sel, fill with your choice of color/pattern and deselect On the same layer, open the jammies2.sel, change the brightness to -40 and deselect, you may need to change these settings if you are using a darker or lighter pattern. On the same layer, open the jammies3.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect
Add a new raster layer and open the hands1.sel and fill with your skin color, I used #FECBAE and deselect On the same layer, open the hands2.sel and fill with a darker skin color #CB8F77 and deselect On the same layer, open the hands3.sel and fill with a medium skin color #E4AB90 and deselect
Add a new raster layer and open the cuffs1.sel, fill with your choice and deselect On the same layer, open the cuffs2.sel and change the brightness to -40 and deselect On the same layer, open the cuffs3.sel and change the brightness to 40 and deselect
Add a new raster layer and open the vest1.sel and fill with your choice, deselect On the same layer, open the vest2.sel and change the brightness -45 and deselect On the same layer, open the vest3.sel and change the brightness 45 and deselect On the same layer, open the vest4.sel and fill with your choice for the stitches, I used white, deselect
Add a new raster layer and open the head1.sel, fill with the same skin color used on the hands, I used #FECBAE and deselect On the same layer, open the head2.sel and fill with a darker skin color, I used #CB8F77, and deselect On the same layer, open the head3.sel and fill with a lighter skin color, I used #FFDCC9 and deselect On the same layer open the head4.sel and fill with a medium skin color, I used #E4AB90 and deselect On the same layer, open the head5.sel and fill with the same medium skin color and deselect On the same layer, open the head6.sel and fill with the same medium skin color and deselect On the same layer, open the cheeks.sel and fill with your cheek color, I used #EEAA9D and deselect
If you look at the vector tutorial you will see how I made the eyes and mouth, you can make your own or use the ones I have included in the zip file, open the babyface.psp file and copy and paste it on a new layer, lining it up with the mover tool.
