This was made using Paint Shop Pro 7.

You will need to download the selections and unzip them to a folder of your choice.

This tutorial uses Eyecandy 3.0


Open a new image 450 x 550 on a transparent background.

Selections - load from disk - load the 1-backarm.sel and fill with #A95C34, deselect

On the same layer load the 2-backarm.sel and fill with #702616, deselect.

Still on the same layer go to Effects - 3D Effects - Eyecandy 3.1 - Jiggle with the settings below.

Layers - new raster layer - load the 3-backleg.sel and fill with #A95C34, deselect.

On the same layer load the 4-backleg.sel and fill with #702616 deselect.

On the same layer load the 5-backleg.sel and fill with #CD9B7F deselect.

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle.

Add a new raster layer and load the 6-backinnerfoot.sel and fill with #702616 deselect and go to Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout with the settings below.

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle.

Add a new raster layer and load the 7-body.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 8-body.sel and fill with #702616 deselect.

On the same layer load the 9-body.sel and fill with #CD9B7F deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 10-leg.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 11-leg.sel and fill with #702616 deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 12-foot.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect

On the same layer load the 13-foot.sel and fill with #702616 deselect

On the same layer load the 14-foot.sel and fill with #CD9B7F deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 15-innerfoot.sel fill with #702616 and deselect.

Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout with the same settings as before.

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle.

Add a new raster layer and load the 16-collar.sel fill with #F6E9E3 and deselect

On the same layer load the 17-collar.sel and go to Colors - Adjust - Brightness/Contrast changing the brightness to -125 and the contrast at 0 deselect.

On the same layer load the 18-collar.sel and go back to Brightness/Contrast changing the brightness to 100 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 19-flag.sel and fill with #F6E9E3 deselect

On the same layer load the 20-flag.sel and fill with #A8121D deselect

On the same layer load the 21-flag.sel and fill with the same color #A8121D deselect.

Still on the same layer load the 22-flag.sel and fill with the same color #A8121D and deselect.

On the same layer load the 23-flag.sel and adjust the brightness again -100 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 24-flag.sel and adjust the brightness to 100 and deselect.

Go to Effects - Noise and add 3% uniform noise on this layer.

Add a new raster layer and load the 25-flagpole.sel and fill with #815643 deselect

Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel using the default settings for "Angled" in the drop down menu.

Add a new raster layer and load the 26-head.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect


On the same layer load the 27-head.sel and fill with #702616 deselect.

On the same layer load the 28-head.sel and fill with #CD9B7F and deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 29-ears.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect

On the same layer load the 30-ears.sel and fill with #702616 and deselect

On the same layer load the 31-ears.sel and fill with #CD9B7F deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 32-eyes.sel, go to Selections - Modify - Feather = 3 and fill with black, deselect.

On the same layer load the 33-eyes.sel and fill with white, deselect

Add a new raster layer and load the 34-muzzle.sel and fill with #A95C34 deselect

On the same layer load the 35-muzzle.sel and fill with #702616 deselect

On the same layer load the 36-muzzle.sel and fill with #CD9B7F deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 37-mouth.sel, fill with black and deselect. Go to Effects - Blur and click on Blur once.

Add a new raster layer and load the 38-nose.sel, go to selections - modify - feather = 3 and fill with black, deselect.

On the same layer load the 39-nose.sel and fill with #808080 deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 40-ribbon.sel and fill with your choice, I used #F6E9E3 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 41-ribbon.sel and fill with the same color, then load the 42-ribbon.sel and fill with the same color. Deselect

Now add a new raster layer and stick a bunch of flowers on the collar, I used one of my flower tubes you can find here.

Add a new raster layer and load the 43-hands.sel fill with #A95C34 and deselect

On the same layer load the 44-hands.sel and fill with #702616 deselect

On the same layer load the 45-hands.sel and fill with #CD9B7F and deselect.

On the same layer load the 46-hands.sel and fill with black, deselect

Apply the same Eyecandy Jiggle

Add a new raster layer and load the 47-strings.sel, fill this selection about 3 times with #F6E9E3 and deselect
