Open a new image about 150 x 150

Use the paintbrush with the settings below to make your books any color you want

then all you do is select the top of the book and both of the sides and use a cutout, blur of 3 and your shadow color will be the same as the outline color, your fill interior color the same as your fill color

and thats it for the books
