This tutorial was written using Paint Shop Pro 7.

We will be making this from scratch using preset shapes and vectors.

I did this one a little different, I tried to make it as easy as possible showing a screenshot of each and every step. I used all preset shapes, no freehand. Unlike my other tuts, I was hoping for a better learning experience here :-) These pages will take awhile to load.

Remember to save your image often.

I used a canvas size of about 300 x 450 on a transparent background

Use preset shapes ellipse, vectors checked, and a fill color of #5F687F, shape out the pants using node edit.

Changing your fill color to #A14F53, go to layers - new vector layer and name it shirt, use preset shapes rounded rectangle to make the shirt.

Switching back to preset shapes ellipse and the same fill color as your pants, make one pants cuff using node edit, then right click on that cuff and choose copy, right click again and choose paste as new vector selection and move it into place for the other cuff.
