This tutorial was written using Paint Shop Pro 7.

You will need to download these selections and save them in a folder of your choice.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP and the tools needed.

Start by opening a new image 700 x 650 on a transparent background.

Go to SELECTIONS - LOAD FROM DISK and browse to the folder you saved these selections into and open the 1-panels.sel, flood fill this selection with white and then go to SELECTIONS - INVERT and then EFFECTS - 3D EFFECTS - DROP SHADOW using the settings below and deselect.

Vertical = 4
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 30
Blur = 20
Color = Black

On the same layer, repeat these same steps for selections 2 through 10-panels.sel, filling each selection with white, selection, invert and use the same drop shadow on each one.

Add a new raster layer and open the 11-backroof.sel, fill with white, selections invert and use the same drop shadow, deselect. On the same layer open the 12-backroof.sel and go to COLORS - ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST changing the brightness to -50 and the contrast to 0, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 13-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, go to EFFECTS - 3D EFFECTS - INNER BEVEL using the settings below and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 14-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #5A5F70, apply the same inner bevel and use a drop shadow with the settings below, deselect.

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 65
Blur = 9.4
Color = Black

On the same layer open the 15-trim.sel and fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 16-windows.sel, fill this with black and deselect.

On the same layer open the 17-windows.sel, fill with white and deselect.

On the same layer open the 18-windows.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, apply the same inner bevel and the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 19-roof.sel fill with your choice, I used #5A5F70, go to EFFECTS - TEXTURE EFFECTS - TEXTURE with the settings below, deselect.

On the same layer open the 20-bottom.sel, fill with the same color, apply the same texture effect changing the size to 40, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 21-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel and the same drop shadow, deselect.

On the same layer open the 22-trim.sel, fill with the same, apply the same inner bevel, apply the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 23-panel.sel, fill with white, selections - invert, apply a drop shadow with the settings below and deselect.

Vertical = 4
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 30
Blur = 20
Color = Black

On the same layer, repeat these same steps for selections 24-panels through 29-panels.sel, filling each with white, selections - invert, and using the same drop shadow on each one.

Add a new raster layer and open the 30-trimbottom.sel, fill with the same color you used for the other bottom, I used #5A5F70, apply the same texture effect changing the size to 45, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 31-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel and use a drop shadow with the settings below, deselect.

Vertical = 0

Opacity = 65
Blur = 9.4
Color = Black

Add a new raster layer open the 32-panel.sel and fill with white, apply the same inner bevel and the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 33-cracks.sel, fill with your choice, I used #2E3038, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 34-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel and the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 35-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, apply the same inner bevel, use the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 36-spider.sel, fill with black and deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 37-windows.sel, fill with black and deselect.

On the same layer open the 38-windows.sel, fill with white and deselect.

On the same layer open the 39-windows.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, apply the same inner bevel, use the same drop shadow and deselect.

On the same layer open the 40-trim.sel, fill with the same color, apply the same inner bevel, use the same drop shadow, deselect.

On the same layer open the 41-trim.sel, fill with the same color, apply the same inner bevel, use the same drop shadow, deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 42-boards.sel, fill with your choice, I used the pattern called "dirty wood" I think it comes with psp. Apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

On the same layer open the 43-boards.sel, fill with the same pattern, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 44-steps.sel, fill with your choice, I used the same dirtywood pattern, I also adjusted the brightness on this selection (Shift - B) to -40, deselect.

On the same layer open the 45-steps.sel, fill with the same, apply the same inner bevel changing the angle to 0, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 46-door.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, use the same inner bevel and the same drop shadow, deselect.

On the same layer open the 47-door.sel and fill with black, deselect.

On the same layer open the 48-door.sel, fill with white and deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 49-pillars.sel, fill with white and go to selections - invert and use this drop shadow, Horizontal = 0 Vertical = 0 Opacity = 50 Blur = 20 Color = Black, then selections - invert again and use the same drop shadow, deselect.

On the same layer open the 50-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel changing the angle back to 0 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 51-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #6F748A, apply the same inner bevel and use the same drop shadow settings and deselect.

Add a new raster layer, open the 52-roof.sel, fill with white and go to selections - invert and use the same drop shadow, deselect.

On the same layer open the 53-roof.sel, go to colors - adjust - brightness/contrast changing the brightness to -50 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 54-trim.sel, fill with your choice, I used #B0B5C8, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 55-ghosts.sel, fill with white and go to selections - invert and apply a drop shadow with the settings below, deselect.

Vertical = -4
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 40
Blur = 30
Color = Black

On the same layer open the 56-ghosts.sel, go to colors - adjust - brightness/contrast with the same settings as before and deselect.

On the same layer open the 57-ghosts.sel, fill with black and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 58-chimney.sel, fill with your choice, I used #3C3F4A, go to effects - texture effects - texture using the same settings as before, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

On the same layer open the 59-chimney.sel, fill with the same color, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 60-eyes.sel, fill with yellow #FFFF00 and deselect. Using Preset Shapes ellipse with a fill color of black make some little eyes.

Add a new raster layer and open the 61-grave.sel, fill with #808080, go to effects - noise and add 6% uniform noise, apply an inner bevel with the same settings, then apply a drop shadow with the settings below and deselect.

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = -4
Opacity = 50
Blur = 10
Color = Black

On the same layer open the 62-grave.sel, fill with #C0C0C0, add 6% uniform noise and deselect.

On the same layer open the 63-rip.sel, fill with #808080 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 64-tree.sel, fill with black and go to selections - invert and apply the same drop shadow changing the shadow color to white, deselect.

On the same layer open the 65-tree.sel, fill with #685D41 and go to effects - artistic effects - brush strokes using the settings below and deselect.

On the same layer open the 68-tree.sel and fill with black, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and open the 69-sign.sel, fill with your choice, I used the dirtywood pattern again, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

On the same layer open the 70-sign.sel, fill with the same, apply the same inner bevel and deselect.

On the same layer open the 71-sign.sel, fill with white or black and deselect.

Add a new layer and open the 72-cat-bats.sel, fill with black and deselect. Use the freehand draw tool with a stroke color of yellow to draw some eyes on these and you are finished.
