

Start by opening a new image, 350 x 550 on a transparent background.
Name your first layer shoes, go to selections, load from disk, and open the shoes.sel, flood fill this with black and deselect.
On the same layer, load the shoes_bottom.sel, go to effects, 3d effects inner bevel using the settings below. Deselect.
On the same layer, load the shoe_shine.sel and fill with white. Deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it hat back, load the hat_back.sel fill this selection with black and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it hair back, open the hair_back.sel fill this with the hair pattern provided above and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it neck, open the neck.sel using the skin colors above, fill this selection with #1 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the neck_shade.sel, fill this selection with the skin color #2 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it head, open the head.sel and fill with the skin color #1 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the head_highlight.sel and fill with the skin color #4 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the head_shade.sel and fill with the skin color #3 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the head_shade2.sel and fill with the skin color #2 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the cheeks.sel and fill with the skin color #5 for his cheeks and deselect.
Now go to file, open, and find the face.psp included in the zip file go to edit, copy, then back to your boy go to edit, paste as a new layer and use the mover tool to line the face up. You should be able to tell where it goes by the shading.
Add a new raster layer and name it hair, open the hair.sel fill with the same hair tile and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it hat, open the hat_top.sel fill with a dark blue #000080 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the hat_top_shade.sel, go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast and change the brightness to -50 deselect.
On the same layer open the hat_band.sel and fill with the same color, while still selected go to effects, 3d effects, inner bevel using the settings shown below and deselect.
On the same layer, open the hat_brim.sel and fill with black apply the same inner bevel and deselect.
On the same layer, open the hat_pins.sel and fill with #D2B88A apply the same inner bevel and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it coat, open the coat1.sel fill with the same dark blue #000080 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the coat1_shade.sel and go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast with the same settings and deselect.
On the same layer open the coat2.sel, fill with same color, deselect.
On the same layer open the coat2_shade.sel and go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast with the same settings, deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it pockets, open the pockets.sel fill with #0008A0 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the pockets_shade.sel and go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast with the same settings and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it coat pins, open the coat_pins.sel fill with #D2B88A and apply the same inner bevel and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it belt, open the belt.sel fill with the Leather tile, go to effects, 3d effects, inner bevel and in the drop down list choose the preset "Soft Edge" Deselect.
On the same layer open the belt2.sel and fill with the same leather Apply the same inner bevel and this drop shadow. Deselect.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 15
Color = Black
On the same layer open the belt_buckle.sel and fill with #D2B88A go to effects, 3d effects, inner bevel and in the drop down menu apply the preset called "Frame" and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it back sleeves, open the sleeves_back.sel and fill with black. Deselect
Add a new raster layer and name it hands, open the hands.sel and fill with the skin color #1 and deselect
On the same layer, open the fingers.sel and fill with skin color #3. Deselect.
On the same layer open the hands_shade.sel and fill with skin color #2 deselect
Add a new raster layer and name it sleeves, open the sleeves.sel fill with the dark blue #000080 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the sleeves_shade.sel and go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast with the same settings and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and name it collar, open the collar.sel fill with #0008A0 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the collar_shade.sel and go to colors adjust, brightness/contrast with the same settings and deselect
Add a new raster layer and name it patches, open the patches1.sel fill this selection with #8080FF and deselect.
On the same layer, open the patches2.sel and fill with white. Deselect
And you are done!
