You will need to download these selections and save them in a folder of your choice. The eyes and mouth are also here.
Start by opening a new image 350 x 575 on a transparent background.
Go to SELECTIONS - LOAD FROM DISK and browse to the folder you saved the selections into, open the 1-jammies.sel and fill with your choice of pattern/color. I used #6F70A9, deselect (Ctrl + D)
On the same layer, open the 2-zipper.sel and fill with light gray #C0C0C0 and deselect.
On the same layer, open the 3-zipper.sel and fill with black, deselect.
Still on the same layer, open the 4-jammies.sel and fill with the same color/pattern you used for the jammies and while still selected go to EFFECTS - 3D EFFECTS - INNER BEVEL using the settings below. Deselect.
Still on the same layer, open the 5-jammies.sel and go to COLORS - ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST changing the brightness to -85 and deselect. You may need to change this number a little depending on the color/pattern you are using....
On the same layer open the 6-jammies.sel and adjust the brightness again (Shift + B) changing the brightness to 75. Deselect. I added 6% uniform noise here but that is up to you...
Still the same layer, open the 7-zipper.sel and fill with light gray #C0C0C0 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and open the 8-hat.sel, fill with the same color/pattern you used for the jammies and deselect.
On the same layer open the 9-hat.sel and adjust the brightness to -85 and deselect.
Still on the same layer open the 10-hat.sel and adjust the brightness to 75 and deselect. I added 6% uniform noise here.
Add a new raster layer and open the 11-head.sel, fill with your skin color, I used #EABCB4, and then go to SELECTIONS - INVERT and then EFFECTS - 3D EFFECTS - DROP SHADOW using the settings below. Deselect.
On the same layer open the 12-face.sel and fill with a darker skin color #C08177 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 13-face.sel and fill with the same darker skin color #C08177 and deselect.
Still on the same layer open the 14-face.sel and fill with a medium skin color #DA9E94 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 15-face.sel and fill with the darker skin color #C08177 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 16-face.sel and fill with the same #C08177 and deselect.
Still on the same layer open the 17-cheeks.sel and in your tool options pallet turn the opacity of this fill to 70...
And fill this selection with your cheek color, I used #FB8585 and deselect. In the tool options pallet, turn the opacity back to 100.
Still on the same layer open the 18-face-highlights.sel and fill with a lighter skin color, I used #F4D2CC and deselect.
Now you are of course free to make your own eyes and mouth or you can use mine, open the face.psp included in the zip file, copy and paste as a new selection and move it into place...deselect.
Add a new raster layer and open the 19-hair.sel, fill with the hair tile above and deselect. I used a gaussian blur of .50 on the hair.
Add a new raster layer and open the 20-hat.sel and fill with your choice, I used #B05050, then go to SELECTIONS - INVERT and then EFFECTS - 3D EFFECTS - DROP SHADOW changing the blur to 7 and leaving the other settings the same. Deselect.
Add a new raster layer and open the 21-sleeves.sel, fill with the same color/pattern you used for the jammies and deselect.
On the same layer open the 22-sleeves.sel and adjust the brightness (Shift + B) to -85 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 23-sleeves.sel and adjust the brightness to 75 and deselect. I added 6% uniform noise here.
Add a new raster layer and open the 24-hands.sel, fill with your skin color #EABCB4 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 25-hands.sel and fill with a darker skin color #C08177 and deselect.
On the same layer open the 26-hands.sel and fill with a medium skin color #DA9E94 and deselect.
Still on the same layer open the 27-hands-highlight.sel and fill with a lighter skin color #F4D2CC and deselect.
On the same layer, open the 28-fingers.sel and fill with the darker skin color again #C08177 and deselect.
Add a new raster layer and open the 29-sleeves.sel and fill with the same color you used for the hat trim, I used #B05050 and then SELECTIONS - INVERT and apply the same drop shadow. Deselect.
Now you can add anything else you might want and save him as a picture tube :-)
