You will need to download these Selections and save them in a folder of your choice

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP and the tools needed.

Remember to save your image often.



Open a new image 275 x 575 on a transparent background

"Selections" "Load from disk" open the 1.sel and fill with your choice for her hat. Deselect (Ctrl - D)

On the same layer, "Selections" "Load from Disk" open the 2.sel, go to "Colors" "Adjust" "Brightness/Contrast" (Shift - B) and change the brightness to -40 and the contrast to 0. Deselect (Ctrl - D).

"Layers" "New Raster Layer" and load the 3.sel, flood fill with the same color and deselect. Go to "effects" "3d effects" "cutout" with the settings shown below.

Vertical = -10
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 25
Blur = 25
Color = Black
Fill interior with color = (checked) same color as the hat

Add a new raster layer and load the 4.sel, fill with white and deselect.

On the same layer load the 5.sel and fill with #202020 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 6.sel and fill with white and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 7.sel, fill with your choice for her hair and deselect. I used #E5BD8C

On the same layer load the 8.sel and fill with a darker shade of your hair color, deselect. I used #DEA76C

On the same layer load the 9.sel and fill with a lighter shade of your hair color, deselect. I used #F9EBDD

Add a new raster layer and load the 10.sel, fill with #FECDB8 and deselect. Apply a cutout using the settings shown below.

Vertical = 8
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 85
Blur = 15
Color = #FEB392
Fill interior with color = (checked) #FECDB8

Add a new raster layer and load the 11.sel, fill with the same color, deselect and use the same cutout changing the "Vertical" setting to 0.

Add a new raster layer and load the 12.sel, fill with your cheek color, I used #F68E60 and then deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 13.sel, fill with #FEB392 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 14.sel and fill with #FFE5D9, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 15.sel, fill with white and deselect.

On the same layer load the 16.sel and fill with your choice of eye color, I used a dark blue, deselect.

On the same layer load the 17.sel and fill with white, deselect.

On the same layer load the 18.sel and fill with Black, deselect.

On the same layer load the 19.sel and fill with a dark color for her eyebrows, I used #8A6540 and then deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 20.sel, fill with your choice for the lips, I used #F6956A, do not deselect.

On the same layer, while still selected, choose the paintbrush with the settings shown below and choose a shade darker color (I used #F57F4B) and paint a line to seperate the lips, then change your color to a shade lighter (I used #FBC8B1) and paint a little highlight on the top and bottom lips....


Add a new raster layer and load the 21.sel, fill with white and deselect, apply a cutout with the settings below.

Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 20
Blur = 15
Color = Black
Fill interior with color = (checked) White

Add a new raster layer and load the 22.sel, fill with #6E6E6E and deselect.

On the same layer load the 23.sel and go to "colors" "adjust" "brightness/contrast" changing the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 24.sel and adjust the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 25.sel and fill with black, deselect.

On the same layer load the 26.sel and fill with #808080, deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 27.sel, fill with the color you want her dress to be, I used the same as the hat #8AAEAE, deselect.

On the same layer load the 28.sel and change the brightness (Shift - B) to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 29.sel and change the brightness to 45 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 30.sel and fill with your choice, I used #537575 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 31.sel and change the brightness to -65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 32.sel and change the brightness to 45 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 33.sel, fill with the same dress color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 34.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 35.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 36.sel and fill with the same color you used for the ruffles, deselect.

On the same layer load the 37.sel and change the brightness to -65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 38.sel and change the brightness to 45 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 39.sel, fill with the same dress color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 40.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 41.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 42.sel and fill with the same color you used for the ruffles, deselect.

On the same layer load the 43.sel and change the brightness to -65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 44.sel and change the brightness to 45 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 45.sel, fill with the same dress color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 46.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 47.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 48.sel, fill with your skin color #FECDB8 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 49.sel and fill with a darker skin color #FEB392 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 50.sel, fill with your dress color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 51.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 52.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 53.sel and fill with the same color you used for the dress ruffles and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 54.sel, fill with the skin color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 55.sel and fill with the darker skin color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 56.sel and fill with the lighter skin color, I used #FFE5D9 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 57.sel, fill with the same color you used for the other sleeve and deselect.

On the same layer load the 58.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 59.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 60.sel and fill with the same color you used for the dress ruffles and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 61.sel, fill with white and deselect. Use a cutout with the same settings as before.

Add a new raster layer and load the 62.sel, fill with your choice for the buttons, I used white, and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 63.sel, fill with your choice for the bow, I used the same color as the ruffles, and deselect.

On the same layer load the 64.sel and change the brightness to -50 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 65.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.

On the same layer load the 66.sel and fill with your choice, I used white, and deselect.

On the same layer load the 67.sel and fill with the same bow color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 68.sel and adjust the brightness 65 again and deselect.

On the same layer load the 69.sel and fill with the same as before, I used white, and deselect.

On the same layer load the 70.sel and fill with a darker shade, I used #354949 and then deselect.

On the same layer load the 71.sel and fill with the same darker color and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 72.sel, fill with your hair color, I used #E5BD8C and deselect.

On the same layer load the 73.sel and fill with the darker hair color, I used #DEA76C and deselect.

On the same layer load the 74.sel and fill with the lighter hair color, I used #F9EBDD and deselect.

Add a new raster layer and load the 75.sel, fill with the hat color and deselect.

On the same layer load the 76.sel and change the brightness to 65 and deselect.... Your done!
