| Copy the selection and paste it into a new layer.
For clarity, hide the layer you started with.

| Enclose the word with a selection marquee. There are different ways to do this:
1. Select the whole image, then switch to the Move tool and move the graphics a small distance in any direction. 2. Use the magic wand to select the transparent area. Then invert the selection. |

| Invoke SuperBladePro, and reset the setting by clicking the "simple bevel" button.
Load your favorite environment -- here it's "empire". Turn on embossing, and use the Gaussian bevel -- it's the last one in the bevel-shape menu. |

| Distress the appearance by adding rust-red tarnish, dull brown abrasion, and small blue-grey blotches that resemble lichen.
If you don't like the configuration of the blotches, you can change it using the button with the wavy yellow line. |

| Click OK to apply the effect.
Add a drop shadow and a while background to complete the 3D look.
